I’m a tech founder with 25 years’ experience leading some awesome (and pretty successful) companies. So maybe I could have ended up on some multi-million-pound yacht sipping £20K/bottle whiskey… but I’d rather be sitting around a campfire eating burgers and laughing with people who care about each other. (And I’ve tried the expensive whiskey and I don’t reckon it’s worth the money anyway, to be honest.)
The truth is, I want to look back and know I did the right thing. To know the people around me are better off, and that I made the world a better place for my daughters.
So that’s my guiding principle. It’s why I left Plusnet after our BT buy-out, it’s how I run Tribepad and it’s why I founded Tribepad Ventures.
I’m a huge believer in people helping each other level-up, creating opportunities for each other and being a platform for each other’s success. Having an impact together. Karma, I guess you could say.
